Amazing food and service.
We called in on a busy, rainy Saturday lunchtime and were very lucky to get a table straight away.
The canteen was packed but the staff although rushed off their feet were excellent friendly and efficient and the food was out of this world, one of the best meals we have had in years.

| The best Welsh Rarebit EVER! Simple but so delicious with lea and perrins glazed tomatoes. Great service, unbelievably good food made with care and passion and huge portions! Ecletic choices and nothing to disappoint.

We stopped off in Kendal for lunch before collecting a kayak to take back to Bristol.
The food is fantastic, the service is very attentive and as there was a steady flow of locals we knew we'd come to the right place.
We're coming back up for a holiday and will be working our way through the menu.

| What a amazing range of food it is simply fantastic,I cant get enough of the salads, the canteen is a great spot to meet friends and eat the best food in kendal. The soups are so filling, the staff are fantastic a great team.
